Teach Like a Champion is based on a book of the same name by New York Times bestseller, Doug Lemov, which is grounded in effective practices to create a powerful learning environment that helps educators significantly improve their teaching. It introduces multiple techniques that help teachers raise the behavioral and academic performances of their students. The program comprises five modules: Check for Understanding, Academic Ethos, Ratio, Principles of Classroom Culture and Managing Virtual Classrooms.
QRTA has been offering the Psychosocial Support and Interactive Pedagogy professional development program since 2014 in Jordan to ensure that all children have an equal opportunity to receive a purposeful and meaningful education in a safe, inclusive and supportive learning environment.
Ta’seeso program is a comprehensive professional development program designed to empower kindergarten (KG) teachers. This program blends theory and practice, offering a holistic approach to equipping KG teachers with the knowledge and skills necessary for fostering the holistic development of children in KGs.
This program is designed to foster play-based learning and promote social-emotional learning. It empowers teachers with the theoretical foundations and practical tools needed to actively engage through their daily schedules and routines.
These programs aim to promote student-centered teaching. In addition to extending research-based teaching methodologies for basic and advanced Arabic, the programs focus on enhancing the Arabic reading and writing capabilities of the teachers themselves before equipping them with the tools they require to elevate their teaching skills and practices – regardless of the literary genre.
In 2016, QRTA launched the Teacher Education Professional Diploma (TEPD), which is awarded by the University of Jordan and accredited by the Jordanian Ministry of Education. Developed in collaboration with University College London (UCL) Institute of Education, the TEPD program was granted international accreditation from the Council for the Accreditation of Educator Preparation (CAEP), the largest accreditation council of its kind in the US.
