This project aims to establish standards and methodological foundations for teaching Arabic to non-native speakers in Islamic schools in Singapore. To develop high-quality, systematic standards for teaching Arabic that can be adopted globally, an expert team at the Queen Rania Teacher Academy has developed a scientific and educational vision and methodology to achieve this goal. This methodology is based on studying and analyzing the context of teaching and learning Arabic language in Singapore, where Arabic is taught as a foreign language.

As part of the national efforts to strengthen early childhood education in Jordan, the Queen Rania Teacher Academy, in collaboration with the Ministry of Education, developed this needs assessment report to identify the professional development priorities of teachers in public kindergartens. The findings aim to inform the design of training programs that address teachers’ real challenges and align with evolving educational practices.
