Affirming that social-emotional learning (SEL) is not a supplementary component but a core pillar of a balanced and sustainable educational environment, Queen Rania Teacher Academy (QRTA) has launched a specialized program aimed at integrating SEL across Jordan’s public schools.
The program targets teachers, school counselors, and principals from various educational directorates in the north, central, and south of the country. It aims to equip educators with a comprehensive teaching approach that addresses the social, emotional, cognitive, linguistic, and physical needs of students—enhancing their life skills, academic achievement, and future readiness.
Over a period of six months, participants will undergo 90 hours of specialized training, delivered through three courses with a strong emphasis on in-school practical application.
Implementation has already begun in key directorates ensuring broad geographic reach and impact.
