<p style="text-align: justify;"><span style="font-size: 16px;"><strong>QRTA - Mathematics Program -</strong></span><strong> </strong><span style="font-size: 16px;">The mathematics team orchestrated a series of training workshops for the Mathematics Program throughout 2023. These workshops explored diverse topics such as "Geometric Visions: Unleashing Creativity in Geometry Education”, “Exploring Innovative Applications for Teaching Statistics and Probability" and "STEAM". The workshops were conducted across various Jordanian directorates of education, spanning Al-Jiza, Aqaba, Amman, and Irbid.</span></p>
<p style="text-align: justify;"><span style="font-size: 16px;">The training workshop focused on the theme “Geometric Visions: Unleashing Creativity in Geometry Education”, It aimed to acquaint participants with the latest international methods and practices in teaching Geometry. It aims to connect Geometry concepts to contemporary educational research, compare local and global student outcomes, and identify the curriculum stages incorporating these concepts. The course utilizes models to enhance student understanding and addresses conceptual errors and common mistakes, illustrating how to integrate them into the learning and teaching process.</span></p>
<p style="text-align: justify;"><span style="font-size: 16px;">The workshop titled "Practical Applications in Teaching Statistics and Probability" aims to familiarize participants with the latest international methods and practices in teaching statistics and probability. It links statistical concepts to modern educational research, identifies curriculum stages incorporating these concepts, and emphasizes the significance of central tendency and dispersion measures. The course addresses conceptual errors and common mistakes, illustrating how to integrate them into the learning and teaching process.</span></p>
<p style="text-align: justify;"><span style="font-size: 16px;">The STEAM workshop aimed to acquire the necessary knowledge in STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts, and Mathematics), providing participants with the prerequisites for success in the contemporary world. The teachers engaged in activities that integrated science, technology, engineering, arts, and mathematics. They utilized critical thinking and problem-solving mechanisms, enabling them to design similar activities following the 5E’s inquiry-based teaching model, which is related to science curricula. Furthermore, they actively involved their students in the implementation of these activities.</span></p>
<p style="text-align: justify;"><span style="font-size: 16px;">Queen Rania Teacher Academy (QRTA) continues its training programs for 2023 in cooperation with the Jordanian Ministry of Education and with the support of the Canadian government, implementing subject-specific pedagogy namely Arabic, Science, English, Social Studies, and Math – as well as the Innovation in Education Program, Advanced Instructional Leadership Professional Diploma (AILPD), and Teacher Education Professional Diploma (TEPD).</span></p>
<p style="text-align: justify;"><span style="font-size: 16px;"><strong>برنامج الرياضيات</strong> - عقد فريق الرياضيات سلسلة الورشات التدريبية لبرنامج الرياضيات التي أقيمت خلال عام 2023، تناولت مواضيع متنوعة مثل "الهندسة، والإحصاء، وSTEAM في مديريات التربية والتعليم الأردنية الاتية: الجيزة، والعقبة، وعمان، وإربد.</span></p>
<p style="text-align: justify;"><span style="font-size: 16px;">وركزت الورشة التدريبية التي تناولت موضوع " <strong>طرق إبداعيّة لتدريس الهندسة</strong> " إلى تعريف المشاركين بأحدث الطرائق والممارسات العالمية المتعلقة بتدريس علم الهندسة للطلبة من خلال ربط المفاهيم الهندسية بالأبحاث التربوية الحديثة، ومقارنة نتائج الطلبة محليًا بالنتائج العالمية، وكذلك تحديد المراحل الدراسية المتضمنة لتلك المفاهيم بالمناهج الدراسية. بالإضافة لتوظيف النماذج لبناء الفهم عند الطلبة. وكذلك استعراض الأخطاء المفاهيمية والأخطاء الشائعة عند الطلبة، وكيفية الاستفادة منها في عملية التعلم والتعلّيم في الغرفة الصفيّة من خلال الربط بمناهج الرياضيات التي يقومون بتدريسها.</span></p>
<p style="text-align: justify;"><span style="font-size: 16px;">وأما ورشة "<strong>تطبيقات عملية في تدريس الإحصاء والاحتمالات"،</strong> فقد هدفت إلى تعريف المشاركين بأحدث الطرائق والممارسات العالمية المتعلقة بتدريس الإحصاء والاحتمالات للطلبة من خلال ربط المفاهيم الإحصائية بالأبحاث التربوية الحديثة، وكذلك تحديد المراحل الدراسية المتضمنة لتلك المفاهيم بالمناهج الدراسية. فضلا عن اكتشاف معنى مقاييس النزعة المركزية ومقاييس التشتت ودلالاتها المختلفة. وكذلك استعراض الأخطاء المفاهيمية والأخطاء الشائعة عند الطلبة، وكيفية الاستفادة منها في عملية التعلّيم والتعلم، والتأمل في نجاعة طرائق تدريس مفاهيم الإحصاء والاحتمالات.</span></p>
<p style="text-align: justify;"><span style="font-size: 16px;">أما ورشة <strong>STEAM</strong>، فكان هدفها بناء قدرات المعلمين في مساعدة طلبتهم على اكتساب المعرفة الضرورية بـ (STEAM) والتي توفر لهم متطلبات النجاح في عالمهم المعاصر. واختبر المعلمون أنشطة تدمج العلوم والتكنولوجيا والهندسة والفنون والرياضيات واستخدموا فيها التفكير الناقد وآليات حل المشكلات التي ساعدتهم على تصميم أنشطة مشابهة (وفق نموذج التدريس الاستقصائي E5) ذات صلة بمناهج العلوم، ودمج طلبتهم في تنفيذها.</span></p>
<p style="text-align: justify;"><span style="font-size: 16px;">وتتابع أكاديمية الملكة رانيا لتدريب المعلمين برامجها التدريبية بالتعاون مع وزارة التربية والتعليم الأردنية وبدعم من الحكومة الكندية إذ نفذت لعام 2023 برامج بيداغوجيا المباحث الأساسية لتخصصات (اللغة العربية، والعلوم، واللغة الإنجليزية، والدراسات الاجتماعية، والرياضيات) وبرنامج الابتكار في التعليم بالإضافة للدبلوم المهني في القيادة التعليمية المتقدمة والدبلوم المهني في التعليم.</span></p>
