Bio

Abdelmajeed serves as the Executive Director of Organizational Performance and Technology. With over two decades of experience in the Information and Communications Technology sector, Donors management and organizational development, Mr. Shamlawi has led significant projects such as Jordan’s REACH and REACH2025 initiatives, enhancing the country’s digital economy, managing large scale donors’ economic development programs, NGOs and not-for-profit organizations. His previous roles include the Chief Operations Officer at Oasis500, member of the board of Trustees of Princes Sumaya University for Technology, Strategist and Co-Founder of Y-Consult, and CEO of the ICT Association of Jordan (int@j), where he drove technology, innovation, strategic growth, and sustainability.


At QRTA, Mr. Shamlawi has been developing and implementing the organization strategy, integrating technology into education programs and organization functions, and advancing the Academy’s business model and sustainability. His expertise in developing strategic plans and partnerships significantly contributes to QRTA’s regional and international impact. He holds a Master’s degree in Management Information Systems as well as a Computer Engineering Bachelor degree.

Bio

Rola Said is the Director of Education. With over 25 years of teaching experience, Rola has been instrumental in leading QRTA’s Teacher Education Professional Diploma and overseeing quality assurance. Her distinguished career includes winning the Cambridge Queen Rania Outstanding Teacher Award. Rola’s academic credenntials include a master’s degree in Education from Framingham State College, a certificate in Advanced Education Leadership from Harvard, and a certificate in High Performance Leadership from the Professional Development Academy in Texas. She is an evaluator for The Council for the Accreditation of Educator Preparation from the USA and a trainer and examiner with Cambrdige Assessment International Examination. Rola's commitment to professional development and education quality drives continuous improvement at QRTA.

Nabila Bashir

Nabila Bashir is the Director of Business Development and Growth at the Queen Rania Teacher Academy (QRTA), bringing over two decades of experience spanning strategy, program development, communication, research, teaching, and technology. Additionally, she serves as an evaluator for the Council for the Accreditation of Educator Preparation (CAEP) in the USA. She is a member of the Senior Leadership Team at QRTA. 


Recognized for her contributions, Nabila was selected as a TechWomen fellow in 2018, representing Jordan in Silicon Valley in a mentorship program by the Department of State in the U.S. She received the "Queen Rania Outstanding Teacher Cambridge Award" in 2012 and serves as an international examiner for Cambridge Assessment International Education (CAIE). 


Nabila completed the Certificate in Advanced Education Leadership (CAEL) from the Harvard Graduate School of Education. She holds a Master's degree in Multidisciplinary Studies in Education from the State University of New York (SUNY) and a B.Sc. in Computer Science from the University of Jordan. Nabila is also a Middle East Professional Learning (MEPLI) fellow from the Harvard Graduate School of Education.
